The current plan
The UK government aims to reduce pollution through advanced computing, machine learning and artificial intelligence creating technology to develop state-of-the-art traffic management plans, new types of buildings and vehicles and a better understanding of how pollutants flow.
However, to create these technologies, computers like humans need to be trained. Without real-world data, these new technologies will never leave the drawing board.
